Welcome to the WIRE
The Web-Based Interactive Rheumatology Experience

Thanks for visiting. This site is currently in beta validation testing and your participation is greatly appreciated!

Once a month, academic centers in the Greater Washington DC area gather to present and discuss interesting cases in rheumatology. Selected cases are presented here in a modified interactive format and provide an excellent opportunity to learn and explore various aspects of rheumatology at all training levels, from medical students to senior Rheumatology Fellows.

Currently there are three cases for evaluation although additional cases are currently under development. After each case presentation there is a brief participant satisfaction survey from which data will be gathered for medical education research purposes.

You will need to register to access the cases. During the registration process you will be asked to create a unique and anonymous ID for yourself. The only other information asked will be for research purposes such as training level and hospital location. Your personal identification will be anonymous.

Last, since this is a research project, you will be asked to consent to participate in the protocol prior to registration or viewing any of the cases.
